Swiss-based Ojanga will work alongside some well known and respected international designers during the November 3-6, 2010 Charles Vögele Fashion Days Zurich, an event that has not only attracted big names in fashion, entertainment, and film industry in Europe but which publicists say will turn ‘the Swiss metropolis into a fashion hotspot this autumn.’
Ojanga, a member of the Association of Fashion Designers in Switzerland and a graduate of Mode Design Schule Zurich, works under Winnie Ojanga’s Creations label that she says captures femininity, elegance, class and style. “Each collection”, she says, “showcases complete fashion forward styles that are easy to wear, timeless, ageless, classy and undoubtedly unique. We use exquisite fabrics and luxe embellishments that make every creation piece a fashion statement that is always on trend, individual, sophisticated, sensual, glamorous and elegant.”
With her lovely, ravishing features, Winnie Ojanga herself could model but she appears to prefer creating elegant clothes that others show off.
Answers.Com says Charles Vögele Holding AG is based in Pfaeffikon, Switzerland, from where it operates a cross-European chain of nearly 800 clothing stores.
Though Charles Vögele designs nearly all of the clothing it sells, Answers.Com says, it operates no production plants itself. The group specialises in women’s wear (more than 55%), men’s clothing (30%) and children’s wear (more than 12%).
Charles Vögele, Answers.Com says, had targeted ‘a somewhat older, low-fashion market’ till 2006 when it launched ‘a new, more modern store design to target a more fashion-oriented clientele.’
For the Charles Vögele Fashion Days Zurich, the group has signed on Hollywood actress Penélope Cruz and her sister, Mónica – also an internationally known actress – as testimonials for its Biaggini brand. They will be the faces of Biaggini’s group-wide image campaign from autumn 2010.
