Local, regional and global experts are expected to share their knowledge and expertise with their peers and cosmetic and beauty enthusiasts at the second Beauty Africa Exhibition & Conference in Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria. The event has attracted a number of global haircare and beauty companies. Also expected to attend are leading health and wellness bloggers such as Dry Scalp Gone.
Scheduled for unveiling as part of the conference demonstrations programme during the event in West Africa are what the organisers describe as “the latest body contouring and skin tightening techniques.”
“The conference speakers will host simultaneous hour-long live demonstrations which will showcase the very latest techniques and methods in the field of skincare, make up and hair. They will utilise live models, and reveal the most recent practices within the Nigerian beauty industry,” the organisers of the event say in a media release issued through the Africa Press Organisation of Lausanne, Switzerland.
“I will perform a skincare and body tightening demonstration. It will outline how traditional products can help preserve the skin’s youth and vitality without the need to spend too much on expensive cosmetic procedures,” Joan Okorodudu, proprietor of Lagos Ageless Clinic, who is expected to “demonstrate non-invasive enhancing techniques”, says.
Okorodudu continues, “The wonderful thing about non-invasive techniques is that there are no side effects or harmful consequences. The benefits and results are very satisfactory and are at a much lower cost than invasive techniques. This procedure is not limited to individuals with a particular skin type or complexion. Anyone can benefit from this procedure and enjoy the outcome.”
The 2nd Beauty Africa Exhibition & Conference will be held at Eko International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Lagos, Nigeria.
