United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the Inernational Organization for Migration (IOM) invite youth from all over the world to submit “dynamic and forward-thinking” videos on migration, diversity and social inclusion for their PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival that takes place in New York City in New York, USA.The deadline for submission is June 15, 2015.

“Recognizing youth as powerful agents of social change in a world often characterized by intolerance, and cultural and religious divisions, PLURAL+ invites youth to address key challenges related to migrant integration, inclusiveness, identity, diversity, human rights and social cohesiveness, both at local and global levels. Young people up to 25 years old are invited to submit short videos of five minutes maximum in length.”

Meanwhile, the prize-giving ceremony for the 2015 Mobile Art School in Kenya (MASK) is scheduled for May 26, 2015 at Nairobi’s Michael Joseph Centre, Ground Floor, Safaricom Building, off Waiyaki Way.The event shall start at 2.00PM.
MASK, in an e-mail communication, says “prizes totalling Sh290,000 will be awarded to the winners in Visual, Music, Schools and ‘Under 13’ Categories. Bring along your friends, parents and teachers!”.

“After the Prize-Giving in Nairobi,” MASK says, “the 2015 MASK PRIZE exhibition will travel to the Saatchi Gallery and the Royal Overseas League in London.”
The MASK PRIZE is organised by MASK, a UK-registered education charity.
