KLM passenger plane to North America and Europe.Dubai’s Emirates Airline has delayed its third daily in and out of Nairobi flight by a month while Ethiopian Airlines is set to launch two flights to Singapore and China.

Instead of commencing its third daily flight in and out of the Kenyan capital on June 1 as earlier announced, the United Arab Emirates-based airline that says it offers complimentary airport transfers for all its business class passengers to selected destinations now says the flights shall start on July 1, 2017.

Addis Ababa’s Ethiopian, on its part, is launching flights to Singapore and China’s Chengdu on June 1 and June 2, 2017, respectively.

Consequently, Ethiopian Holidays team says it has prepared a special tour package covering international return flights to Addis Ababa and accommodation in four star hotels in
Chengdu and Beijing and in Singapore to go with the inaugural flights.The offer, the team says, is valid for sale in June 2017 only.

Emirates Airlines passenger planeThe all inclusive Singapore package, that covers five days and four nights, starts from US$1199 per person sharing a double or twin room or US$1499 per person in a non-shared single room.

The combined, all inclusive Chengdu and Beijing package covers seven days and six nights at the cost of US$1699 per person sharing a double or twin room or US$1920 per person in single room occupancy.

British Airways and KLM, too, say they have travel offers from Nairobi to Britain, Europe and selected destinations in the United States of America.

Meanwhile, Nigerian and international artists working in the paint medium are invited to apply for an international artist residency in Nigeria.

The Oyasaf Artist-in-Residency programme in Abeokuta, Nigeria, is a five-week annual programme designed for two sessions (September 1-November 30, 2017) and (March 1-May 31, 2018).

Abeokuta city is a major historical town in Nigeria. It is the state capital and the largest city in Ogun State of Nigeria’s southwest. It is situated on the east bank of the Ogun River with a most beautiful and ideal environment for artists.”
