Telsy Carolla is the new name in music from the mid-ocean islands of the Seychelles. The young and pretty star has just issued her first music CD, “Just Me,” and she is not just waiting for her entrepreneurial father, Terry Carolla of Telly’s Agency, to help open doors for her, but she is moving ahead by being innovative.

Accompanied by the known and popular Seychelles artist, Sandra Esparon who joins her on the “Just Me” CD album to sing “Ladans nou Losean”, she met Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture. They presented a copy of the “Just Me” CD to the Minister and an autographed copy of her CD cover for the Minister’s meeting room wall.

In the presence of her father and Esparon, Carolla discussed her career as a Seychelles singer and her ambitions with the Minister. She offered to assist as and when possible with entertainment for visiting dignitaries and press.

St.Ange congratulated Carolla on the issue of her first music CD, “Just Me” with eleven songs. “I will make time to listen to your CD, and I assure you that I remain committed to see young artists such as yourself find their place in our world of music,” the Minister said.

Minister St.Ange also promised to have the autographed copy of Telsy Carolla’s CD album on his wall in the Ministry’s meeting room. “This wall is a collection of CD covers brought in by artists, and yours, Telsy, will take its place and will be seen by all who use this room for a meeting including many members of the press who visit our Ministry. We are the Ministry of Culture, and we need to showcase our artists in one way or another,” Minister St.Ange said.
