Nairobi-based songwriter and musician, Maia Von Lekow, is set to launch her music video, Jellyfish, at Kuona Trust, Likoni Close, Likoni Lane, off Dennis Pritt Road in the Kenyan commercial and political capital on Oct 19, 2013 at 6.00PM.
“Partnering with film director Chris King,” Von Lekow says, “the beautifully crafted Jellyfish video starts in Nairobi and then takes us for a walk on the ocean floor.”
Speaking of the launch, she says, :We want to make this event special. Not only will it include a full hour-long show live, but it will also have a special lighting element, an Afro-chic chill out zone courtesy of events company Positively African, and a DJ.”
“What a wonderful band. I will be playing with Wakake Otieno, Thomas Regius Menzer, Nathan Okite and Isaac Mugunda. Gregg Tendwa will be DJ for the evening! Cant wait it will be a party!” she writes on her page on Facebook.
