Saying its 2014 edition of the contest “was a great success with 88 candidates and more than 50,000 votes”, Orange is inviting artists–singers, groups, musicians–to register their interest, proposing an original song and representative of their musical style on the StarAfrica.com website between May 26 and July 7, 2015 to enable public voting online.
“A jury composed of music professionals will designate the Jury Prize from all the candidates,” Orange says. “The Jury Prize winner will be announced on StarAfrica.com on July 10, 2015.”
Saying “The music title of the 10 winners of the competition will be part of the StarAfrica Sounds 2015 compilation,” Orange says “a remix contest, in partnership with Soonvibes, will be organized using the Public Prize and the Jury Prize winners’ songs” in 2015.
