Terminal 2 of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, is now open and airlines are relocating to it from their current locations in Terminals 1B, 1C and 1D.
Travellers to and from Nairobi are advised, especially those on domestic flights, to ascertain before they drive to the airport, from which terminal their flight will leave, or for those who are picking up passengers, from which terminal their guests will arrive.
Fly540 has already shifted all their departures, domestic and regional, into the new Terminal 2.
To give a much clearer picture of the new terminals, UNIGLOBE Let’s Go Travel agency has provided some direction to facilitate convenient travel.

Meanwhile, National Museums of Kenya (NMK) is calling upon artists with at least five years’ experience and backed by reference from recognised institutions to create and install original work for public display in JKIA, the air hub of eastern Africa. This is after NMK failed to get the right candidates from among those who applied for consideration on February 10, 2015. The new deadline for sending in tenders is April 23, 2015 at noon (East African Standard Time).
