Dubai Shopping Festival ends at the end of January 2017Too good to be true?

Not if you adhere to the terms and conditions–the fine print–of the ticket at the time of purchase.

Meanwhile, Nairobi’s Kenya Airways (KQ) says it is offering a 50% discount off the sixth ticket to Dubai in United Arab Emirates and Guangzhou in China for every five purchased.

“This offer is valid for purchase and travel from now until March 31, 2017,” KQ says.

And, like Qatar Airways, KQ says “Terms and conditions apply’ to its offer.

Do you need any advice concerning these offers?

Sorry, I am neither a corporate communications spokesperson or marketing executive for the Qatari and Kenyan airlines in this article nor a travel lawyer who can bill you for my time. However, as a journalist, I can only say that you read the rules, regulations and restrictions (commonly referred to in business circles as ‘terms and conditions’) governing the ticket before paying for it to avoid possible misunderstanding ‘in the unlikely event’ of something going wrong.
