Though we always associate the beginning of the year with new resolutions to make us better by accomplishing personal goals or otherwise improving our life, resolving to work more strategically to achieve a better work-life balance can start at any time, including 40 days into a new year. Like today. Life being art,one must plan to live it successfully as one only gets out what one puts in.

Here are nine practical resolutions to achieve Work-Life Balance in 2019:
- Delegate better and more often. Disperse the workload and free up time for the key issues
- Schedule regular sessions dedicated to business planning. Daily and weekly plans can help ease unnecessary stress

- Let go of what’s not working. Sometimes it’s best to move on – unexpected opportunities could be just around the corner
- Step out of your comfort zone and join a new networking group. Networking is a great way to spark ideas and gain useful contacts
- Replace worn-out equipment. Recruit that new employee who will increase productivity
- Carve out “me time” in your calendar and stick to that commitment

- Pick up a new skill or acquire new knowledge. Learning something new will add an extra dimension to your life, and help you approach your professional activities from a new angle
