Kenya Airways has suspended flights to Khartoum in the SudanPassengers travelling out of the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, to destinations around the world have till mid June to get special fares for travel by end of November 2019.

Emirates Airlines says the fares it is offering till June 13 are for Economy, Business and First Class to Dubai and beyond.

British Airways, too, says it has discounted Economy and Business class fares to London in Britain and New York in United States of America UK Special.

Unlike Emirates’s fares that are valid till November 30, BA’s tickets are to be used by June 30, 2019.

Meanwhile, Kenya Airways has suspended flights to and from Khartoum in the Sudan due to the political unrest in the north African country following standoff between the military and pro-democracy protesters.

KQ has suspended flights to and from Khartoum including tonight's flights: KQ 348 Nairobi-Khartoum and KQ 349 Khartoum-Nairobi.“Following the uncertain situation at Khartoum International Airport, KQ has suspended flights to and from Khartoum including tonight’s flights: KQ 348 Nairobi-Khartoum and KQ 349 Khartoum-Nairobi. We are monitoring the situation and will advise when normal operations resume,” the national carrier of Kenya, that has just been voted as Africa’s Leading Airline (Business Class) and Africa’s Leading Airline (Economy Class) at World Travel Awards 2019, says in a statement.
