As Kenya prepares to open its skies for domestic and international flights on July 15 and August 1 in that order, tour operators have already announced post-Lockdown family getaways offers in some of this East African country’s tourism havens.
Lets Go Travel Safaris, Holiday Bazaar and Atua Enkop Africa say they all have family getaways on offer for locals or residents.
While Let’s Go Travel says it has an updated e-version of Residents Rates at Most Lodges and Hotels in Kenya, that it is offering to travellers to assist them in their choice of getaway venues, Atua Enkop Africa’s offer is at its Tipilikwani Mara Camp in Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

A two-night stay, that usually goes for Sh1 008 000 for 36 persons in 18 tents, is now going for Sh795 000 for 42 persons in 20 tents on special offer for residents.
Atua Enkop Africa, that says its offer is valid July 15 – September 30, 2020, says it is also offering:
- 25% off on Bar Bills
- 25% Bush Dinner OR Bush Breakfast
- 25% off on SPA treatments
- Airstrip to Camp return transfers
- Shared game drives in the camp’s open sided game viewing land cruisers
- One sun downer
This offer, Antua Ankop Africa says, is available on two-night minimum stay and that an “Additional 5% discount on the rates will be offered for the 3rd Night Taken”.

Holiday Bazaar, on its part, says it has the following getaways:
The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille

The offer, valid July 15 – September 20, 2020 is available from Sh95 000 per person Sharing for three nights on full board basis inclusive of 4×4 transport and scheduled game drives.

The offer valid till November 30, 2020, is available from Sh33 000 per person sharing.

Little Governors’ Camp

Available from Sh91 500 per person sharing for three nights on full board basis, the offer comes with 4×4 transport and scheduled game drives. It is valid July 15 – September 20, 2020.
Naibor Camp
