Initiative of Kenya Film Commission, the aim of the Kalasha Film and TV Awards is to celebrate what is touted as exceptional talent in the Film and TV sector in Kenya. Nominees for 10th annual Kalasha Film and TV Awards in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, have been unveiled.

In a nomination ceremony aired on NTV on November 18, Kenya Film Commission (KFC) said it had received 900 entries out of which an eight-member nomination jury drawn from players in the movie sector nominated movies, cast and crew members in 31 categories to compete for the Kalasha International TV and Film Awards 2020.

The 31 nominees categories include 17 for film, 8 for television and 6 for special awards.

KFC invites movie lovers to vote for their favourite nominees by downloading and installing StarTimes ON mobile App on their mobile devices.

The 14-day voting period runs November 19 – December 3, 2020.
