14th edition of the International Surrealism Now exhibition running May 5 - July 11, 2021 at Centro de Artes e Espectáculos (Centre of Arts and Spectacle, CAE) in Figueira da Foz in PortugalSome 125 artists from 52 countries are exhibiting their painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and digital art in a show that is being touted as being the world’s largest surrealist art exhibition in the 21st century.

This 14th edition of the International Surrealism Now exhibition running May 5 – July 11, 2021 at Centro de Artes e Espectáculos (Centre of Arts and Spectacle, CAE) in Figueira da Foz in Portugal is showcasing art from Albania, Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cuba, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Ukraine, Venezuela, Vietnam and India.

Santiago Ribeiro's surrealist painting titled About Portugal, tackles widespread and endemic corruption that has also crawled into the Coronavirus vaccination.International Surrealism Now art project was conceived as a touring exhibition by Santiago Ribeiro, a Portuguese surrealist artist, in 2010. He says the event has so far been held Lisbon and Porto (Portugal); Dallas, Los Angeles, Mississippi and New York (United States of America);Berlin (Germany); Paris (France); Moscow and St Petersburg (Russia) and Madrid (Spain),

CAE, where the 14th International Surrealism Now is taking place, was opened in 2002 and has a 200- and 800-seat auditoria, outdoor amphitheater, a foyer, breakout rooms, studios and four exhibition halls.
