Nominees for the 20th edition of the annual Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) have been unveiled.
AMAA, that in 2024 marks its 20th year, shall have various activities leading to the gala night on November 2 at the Balmoral Convention Centre inside Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja GRA in Nigeria’s commercial capital, Lagos.
Chief Executive Officer Raymond Anyiam-Osigwe and Chief Operating Officer, say among the activities they have lined up to usher in the AMAA Gala Night are the launch of the AMAA Coffee Book (October 25), AMAA Africa Night of Legends (November 1), AMAA Meets Nollywood and AMAA Africa Fashion Show and Exhibition.
They stress that the 2024 AMAA will be redefining the continental awards and charting the way forward for the next phase ahead while celebrating the greatness in Africa’s creative industry.
