British Airways (BA) is from October 14, 2015 moving several long-haul routes from Terminal 5 to Terminal 3.
Nairobi, Accra, Cape Town, Denver, Las Vegas, Miami, Phoenix and Vancouver shall all move as “part of a consolidation programme to move to a two-terminal operation, with the permanent closure of Terminal 1 in June 2015,” British Airways says.

BA says it is “investing in further improvement of the Terminal which already includes a Galleries Club Lounge, Galleries First Lounge and Elemis Travel Spa.”
Terminal 3, BA says, “offers convenient connections to our partners and by the end of 2015, it will be home to 21 BA routes.The same terminal Minimum Connecting Time (MCT) of 60 minutes will remain as before. For customers changing terminals at Heathrow the MCT is 90 minutes.”
“Passengers taking their Avis car rental vehicle can take the Heathrow Airport shuttle to the car rental centre. Alternatively Terminal 3 offers the same convenient transport links to the Heathrow area and central London as the other Heathrow terminals.”

Meanwhile, Air Zimbabwe resumes its three flights per week from Harare to Lusaka with effect from June 22, 2015. It will fly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
