Artists In Residency (AIR), the programme to which you are invited to participate, is in 2015 providing artists with the opportunity to concentrate on developing their craft in Australia, Brazil, India, Italy, Kenya, Spain, Tanzania and United States of America.

The costs of the residency and round-trip airfare are included in each AIR award made to artists across all disciplines: visual arts; performing arts; creative & literary arts; film; and music & curatorial practice.

Detailed information about application and available opportunities are on the africacentre.net/artists-in-residency/ website.

The deadline for application to AIR that is organised by Cape Town (South Africa)-based Africa Centre, an initiative that is touted as “a platform for exploring contemporary Pan-African cultural practice as a catalyst for social change”, is September 30, 2015.
