The Cultural Council of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kenya shall host a week-long photo exhibition on Worship and Religious Diversity in the Islamic Republic of Iran March 14-18, 2011 at the Jomo Kenyatta Memorial Library of the University of Nairobi. A collection of photos by a renowned Iranian Female Photographer, Marzieh Avetyn, will be on display.
According to a Media Release from the Cultural Council of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, “the Photo Exhibition exhibits how the Iranian society is a good and successful example of friendly and brotherly coexistence among different religious and ethnic groups.”

The official opening of the Photo Exhibition will be on 14th March, 2011 at 9.30 am and officiated by Charge De Affaire of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammed Khoshamadi.
